TDS-NJ-850 Tartaric Acid Retarder
NJ-850 is a tartaric acid retarder for sulfoaluminate cement. It is a white powder with a distinct acidic odor and has the following characteristics:
It is stable in properties and easy to store;
It can be widely adapted to various types of cements based on calcium sulfoaluminate or aluminate, such as quick-setting cement, high-alumina cement, high-belite cement, etc.
It can effectively extend the setting time, improve the workability of the corresponding cement, and has no effect on the strength within a reasonable dosage range.
Scope of application
This product is suitable for mortar and concrete systems that require high fluidity retention , especially for sulfur-aluminum cement systems, such as bearing mortar, self-leveling compound , and quick-repair concrete .

Recommended dosage
The recommended dosage of this product in various systems is 0.10-0.50% of the cementitious material. The optimal dosage needs to be determined through testing.
Packaging and storage
- This product is packaged in paper bags, 25kg/bag;
- This product is not sensitive to temperature, but it is recommended to store it at an ambient temperature of 10 ~ 30℃.
- Store in a sealed container to prevent moisture and pressure . The storage time should not exceed 12 months.
